Ruth Ann's Story
Life
I have been happily married to Daniel Varner (also 1974 TC Graduate) for 26 years. We have one child - Danielle now 17 yrs. She is a senior in high school this year and she is privately tutored.
We live in the Detroit Metro Area and both have good jobs. We will be empty nesters pretty soon, so I am probably going to go back to college and study languages.
Our Daughter has had one year of Japanese (is tutored at a local Japanese/American business and language tutoring firm). I have forgotten most of my 4 years of Spanish that I took in Jr. and Sr. High and would like to relearn this language along with French, Greek and Russian.
Both Dan and I were pretty quiet in high school, so I'm not sure many people remember us. I enjoyed high school, but was equally glad to graduate, go to NMC, graduate from there and start to really live.

have both passed away, my father-in-law in 1992 and my mother-in-law in 1997. They are greatly missed by everyone in my family on both sides. Rev. Varner was one of the clergy members who gave the invocation at our graduation ceremony.
My parents, Don and Susie DeLany live in Zephyrhills, Florida and struggle constantly with bad health. My mother has Alzheimer's and many sicknesses associated with it, and my father, her loving caretaker, is constantly stressed out.
We communicate with all of our family often, and along with our church family, these people are the most important in our lives.
I pray for any of my former classmates who lost their lives, who lost family members or friends or were present in NYC during the terror attack on September 11, 2001.
